LOCATION. Is within walking distance of many destinations and transportation. Clean and comfortable with decent size rooms and bathrooms. Friendly and accommodating staff. Local street markets and prepared food just outside the door, but a clean and safe neighborhood as well.

Great location, attentive staff, very nice room. A tip - at certain times of the day, i.e. late afternoon it is difficult to get a taxi outside the hotel - allow plenty of time if going to the airport.

Great location, close to the mid-levels escalator and only minutes away from Central station and the ferry piers. Wellington street is a vibrant street with a market on the side street next to the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly.

The location is excellent and the staff are very helpful.

We had booked an executive king room and we were given a much smaller room , they did fix the problem but only after I complained and the same happened to friends that were travelling with us.

This is our second stay at this hotel and although there was a mix-up with the room on arrival, this problem was soon resolved. Worth booking the King Executive Room - ask for a room number ending in 02.

Unbelievable find. Great location, the nicest stall, great room. We stayed at 2 other hotels on the trip and we didn't how good we had it here! The other Butterfly on Hollywood was good too, but Wellington was the best.

Excellent choice for someone seeking a comfortable room in a central location. No other facilities to speak of. Some may find the surrounding area (lots of local street and other restaurants,crowded alleys filled with vendors, rubbish piled up in the mornings, occasional dead rats) challenging, others (like me) vibrant andcolourful.

Friendly and helpful staff on reception. Hotel located in a very central position near to modern and old Hong Kong. Ideal for visiting all parts of the city with easy access to transport including the airport express.

Room was slightly small and a glass partition separating the toilet and the sleeping area could be embarrassing for some.

Really good staff - their English was good and they went out of their way to be as helpful as possible. And everything done with a smile! Great location - easy to get everywhere in Central and in a really interesting area. Room very nice despite being rather small. Fantastic shower!

Location is perfect for central Hong Kong. It is literally metres away from the hustle and bustle, but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating - more of a personal touch than you get in the large hotel chains. Room was clean and had everything I needed.

Excellent location, 10 mins walk from Hong Kong and Central MTR Stations, and 5 min walk from the famous Lan Kwai Fong area for a relaxing drink after work. Very friendly and helpful staff. Oriental-themed hotel that really enhances the Hong Kong flavor.

The toilet may be a little cramped for those not familiar with Hong Kong, but otherwise a very spacious and comfortable room. No restaurant or room service for those who are used to such services. However, it's not a problem as there are lots of places for nice food within a few minutes walk from hotel and most open early morning and till quite late.

It was strange not to go through a lobby when going in and out of the hotel- the lobby is located on the 1st floor which is easily skipped. The room was actually comfortable and spacious, not the most beautiful room I've been in but it is comfortable enough for the few hours spent in it a day. Cute butterflies pinching the pillows that describe each pillow and confirm their cleanliness. The location is great- in a run down street only a 1 minute walk from Queen's Road and Connaught Road so you get to experience both scenes of the city. Very friendly, good service- I called in the morning to ask for late checkout and was accepted immediately.

The carpet in the rooms didn't seem very clean but I'm glad they provided slippers. Walls are a bit too thin- I could hear all adjacent doors closing at any time of the night/day which was annoying when I was trying to sleep.

I was impressed by the courteous service at the butterfly! I arrived on a rainy afternoon and was greeted by the consiege lady downstairs with a charming smile which assures me it's going to be a pleasant stay! And I was right! BTW, the bathroom is handicapped friendly, thoughtful!

The sink in the bathroom is too small!

the hotel is modern, spacious rooms, good firm bed, modern bathroom, quiet. Staff is friendly, but reception is at level 1 and you only see them at check-in/check-out.

The hotel has no facilities for food, and minibar is empty. There are supermarkets, bars & restaurants nearby, so this is only a minor problem

Located in the centre of Business area. Not far from pier to other areas and Macau, several minutes to IFC Mall. Good and free of charge wi-fi

No breakfast in the hotel, rooms are not big, no view from the window (my case). Fruit market smells awfully when sellers are gone and not sold fruits are left in the street. Not many additional services available at the hotel

Too many stairs and steps on the street and the footbridge, is not covenient to use with a trolley suitcases (it is Hong Kong city government problem)

our room was a bit small for a queen bedroom, but we managed for a short stay. also, the hotel is surrounded by one-way streets, so it takes a very long time for a taxi to get from the mtr station to the hotel (going back to the mtr station is much faster).
