It was strange not to go through a lobby when going in and out of the hotel- the lobby is located on the 1st floor which is easily skipped. The room was actually comfortable and spacious, not the most beautiful room I've been in but it is comfortable enough for the few hours spent in it a day. Cute butterflies pinching the pillows that describe each pillow and confirm their cleanliness. The location is great- in a run down street only a 1 minute walk from Queen's Road and Connaught Road so you .
all reviews » Staff very accommodating for our group of 10 guests. This hotel is a room's only hotel with no Bars or Restaurants in the hotel. But you are right in the heart of Soho, close to Restaurants & Bars, near Lane (food and variety) Markets and Department Stores like H&M with easy access to ATM's, Banks, MTR (Rail), Trams and Buses. If you want fruit for breakfast, the lane market next door sell a variety of fresh fruit from across the world, freshly squeezed fruit juice across the road or yo. The hotel is situated in a very good central location, within easy reach of major transport links, the cbd and the nightlife of Lan Kwai Fong. In contrast, this is one of the more traditional areas of Hong Kong and it was interesting to visit the nearby alleys with their fruit and vegetable markets by day and "Dai pai dongs" at night. The hotel itself is nicely appointed, in an "East meets West" kind of way, and we were very comfortable during our stay. There is a considerable selection of rest. Loved this hotel, we had a king room which was nice and big, good size bed and the shower was better than mine at home (big rain-style shower head!). Location is good, nice and close to MTR stations and LKF nightlife. Please be aware that this is not a normal, full service hotel, it's a room and that's pretty much it - no restaurant, gym, pool etc. We were aware of this before booking, and we were fine with that. Excellent choice for someone seeking a comfortable room in a central location. No other facilities to speak of. Some may find the surrounding area (lots of local street and other restaurants,crowded alleys filled with vendors, rubbish piled up in the mornings, occasional dead rats) challenging, others (like me) vibrant andcolourful. The location was great for exploring HK Central and was surrounded by great food. The bed was so comfortable and the room was reasonably sized for a HK hotel. The bathroom was not too cramped and the shower was very nice. Staff were helpful and good. There are only about 3 or 4 rooms per floor so it's nice and not too noisy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient to Central Hong Hong Island. The morning espresso was very pleasant and the two Mac computers were also convenient. The room was very comfortable with plenty of storage. The decor was pretty and the showers were hot. The room was clean. Location is perfect for central Hong Kong. It is literally metres away from the hustle and bustle, but far away enough to be peaceful and quiet. Wellington St outside the hotel can be a little scungy/messy, not their fault though!. Its not very near to the MTR - you have to walk up (quite a steep slope) to get to the hotel - not recommended if you plan to do alot of shopping especially around the rest of HK because lugging all your loot back to the hotel is very tiring especially through the crowd. The television in the room has extremely limited channels - they dont offer the usual cable chanels such as Starworld and AXN etc No airport shuttle. The carpet was stained and the room smelled as a result. The bed w. The frosted glass partition between bedroom and bathroom gave little privacy. Air con was quite noisy. The sink in the bathroom is too small!. No breakfast or bar, but there is several cafees, bars and restaurants nearby. The toilet may be a little cramped for those not familiar with Hong Kong, but otherwise a very spacious and comfortable room. No restaurant or room service for those who are used to such services. However, it's not a problem as there are lots of places for nice food within a few minutes walk from hotel and most open early morning and till quite late. The carpet in the hotel room looked quite dirty, however, there were no dusts (if not I'd have an allergic reaction). Quite expensive. Room was slightly small and a glass partition separating the toilet and the sleeping area could be embarrassing for some. No breakfast or room service. The street uneven-ness...with several steps up and down....make walking difficult esp for elders with leg problems. Facilities rating downgraded only by locally worn carpets. Shower quite small. The hotel has no facilities for food, and minibar is empty. There are supermarkets, bars & restaurants nearby, so this is only a minor problem. Unable to adjust the AC. The temperature was really low. Narrow space at lift and corridor. Also not used to the sliding door for bathroom. But, none is a issue. No breakfast in the hotel, rooms are not big, no view from the window (my case). Fruit market smells awfully when sellers are gone and not sold fruits are left in the street. Not many additional services available at the hotel. Breakfast not available in this hotel. The mattess is bit too hard. Everything OK...perhaps the bed a little too firm!. too pricy,and wants my credit card in advance for guarantee,and the refund speed is so slow. our room was a bit small for a queen bedroom, but we managed for a short stay. also, the hotel is surrounded by one-way streets, so it takes a very long time for a taxi to get from the mtr station to the hotel (going back to the mtr station is much faster). Difficult aircon to control to not freezing!, damp smell in room( usual in HK),. The bathroom was very small with a glass door that did not shut well so privacy was poor.
