The hotel is located in a very quiet area, on top of a little hill, just four blocks from the Sygrou-Fix metro station and the stop of tramway going both to the city centre and the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooftop terrace, although small, has a wonderful view on the Acropolis and Lycabettus. Breakfast and drinks are served there. WiFi is free and works well both in the rooms and common areas. Breakfast is good and besides standard food includes also fresh season fruit .
all reviews » The staff were extremely helpful! We required a crib for our baby & we arrived fairly late in the evening, but they made sure to have the baby's cot ready in just 30 minutes. They were very helpful in calling for a cab when we required one as well as helping find restaurants near by. The breakfast was wonderful & the woman who serves it was very nice. The view of the Acropolis from the dining deck was absolutely amazing & really made the hotel worth every penny!. The view from the roof was spectacular. Breakfast great. Staff excellent. Booked our 3 island tour for us with no trouble. Had room on 5th floor under roof on 6th so a little noisy early and late but didn't really bother us but need to be aware. Very convenient position near Fix Metro and Acropolis Museum no.3 stop on hop on hop off bus. Great value for 18 Euro 2 day travel. Would definitely reccomend!. This hotel is a short walk from the Acropolis and all of the other historical sights. They were very friendly and helpful in giving advice and helping us locate some items that we left behind. We are struggling to find any good things to say about this hotel, fortunately we only had to stay 2 nights of our 4 night booking, as we arranged to travel and stay with relatives, this is a budget hotel and should be booked only as one. The beds were comfy and the hotel was within walking distance to the Acropolis. It was also close to the metro and the tram stop. The shower in my room had no curtain so water exited the designated area. There is a street ramp (one block long) to reach the hotel, so people with walking problems need extra effort. We were traveling with a 3yr old & 7month old baby (so we had a lot of luggage) and the room was small & cramped for what we needed, however, the room would not have been small if it had only been 2 adults. I realize European hotel rooms tend to be smaller than American hotel rooms so we had expected it to be smaller than we are accustomed to. There was really only street parking which seems to be the norm in Athens from other hotels we stayed at. Rooms were small. The room we had was the largest they had and it was still a little small for a family of 4. Cold breakfast. no negatives from me!. Inconsistent WiFi signal. The rooms were quite small and cramped. Walking distance from metro, but a little up-hill. with two children in one room it was very crowded. The website should include more specific directions from the metro. It doesn't say what way on the main road to go and the turn onto the street for the hotel is confusing. Crazy loud noises at night couldn't work out what it was . Plus dog barked lots too . Small bathroom and noise from other rooms and hall. The bathroom is quite small and cramped. smell of cigarettes throughout the hotel. Rooms were advertised as 'with parthenon view' but the view was actually from a side balcony that was not directly outside the doors of the room. We thought we would be able to see the parthenon from the window of our bedroom. The breakfast area is used as a bar at night and we found that cigarette ash on seats and tables not cleaned from previous night, cigarette smell throughout the hotel, elevator only accommodates one person and luggage, breakfast very average at best. The rooms were very small and there was not space to unpack so all our clothes stayed in the suitcase for 5 days which wasn't ideal. The directions aren't very clear so we wandered around for ages before we finally found it and it is on quite a steep hill.
