I liked the friendliness of staff, family atmosphere (e.g. breakfast/living room), small size of the hotel, the art work on walls, the closeness to the Acropolis and Ancient Agora, and the fact that it was in a residential neighbourhood, as well as close to shops, and the Metro, and that it had a balcony. Excellent location close to the Acropolis, with nearby parking available (in a separate commercial car park). The hotel has a lovely breakfast terrace balcony. The rooms are compact but charming, very clean and well-equipped, with air-conditioning. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the place, the hotel owner Maria is a lovely and helpful person, have 2 beautiful cats in the office. Breakfast, elevator!. The only thing I didn't like was the external evening and night noise -- trucks, dogs barking, people walking and talking on the street fairly late sometimes. I'm not sure this can be easily fixed and it probably wouldn't deter me from staying at the hotel. Comfort of beds was not great unfortunately. we stayed in two rooms, and both had old spring-type mattresses that were not comfortable; these should be upgraded. toilet is a bit small plus bath did not work well when we first moved in. But they fixed it in time. Nothing. There are a lot of pigeons in the area. They can be Noisy if you are in one of the rooms not on the street side !. Room was adequate. Basic amenities. Room dusty with very hard beds and pillows. Noisy at night, had to leave windows open which meant a lot of noise b. Smell in bathroom.
