Great hotel - really clean and comfortable. About a 5-7min walk to/from the airport and 5min walk to the train station. Nice big shower. Includes free transport around Berlin during your stay, so we didn't have to pay for our train into the city, bonus!! Breakfast is €11pp and has a decent variety of hot & cold food. Reception were very efficient and friendly with key card ready for us on arrival. We arrived in late and it was no problem to get a later check-out at no extra charge. Would hi.
all reviews » Last stayed here 3 years ago. As good now as it was then. 5 minute walk from both station and airport - yes, just a 5 min walk. Frequent trains to centre of city. Hotel gives a pass for these. As do all in the IC chain. Really comfortable rooms. Varied and extensive breakfast, offering hot and cold choices. new hotel, obviously built for the new airport opening! get your booking in now before the price goes up. The 400m walk to the hotel is easy, straight out the door and look to your right. Stick to the walkway alongside the road and not across the car park, especially if you have rolling luggage. Superb location for the airport, 5 minutes walk with bags and really easy to find as it is visible from the terminal and is quite distinctive. Very clean and comfortable. They also offer free public transport around Berlin during your stay which was fantastic. Staff were all excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. I was in Berlin to take part in the marathon and the free travel card was fantastic as I travelled a lot around the city. Also I was able to get train times from the hotel which was so helpful. Great hotel. 5 minutes walk from the railway station and airport. The staff was very kind and mailed me the instructions. The room wasn't big but very clean, modern and comterbale. The facilities are very good, the location is great, closest possible to the airport in case you have an early flight. No supermarket, restaurants or takeaway places nearby, so have to dine at the hotel restaurant. Nothing to dislike with Inter City hotels. Some misleading comments in the reviews though. Crowded reception, tourist buses discharging, scary elevator, edge of red-light area - non of these fit this hotel. And there is an umbrella in the room for those who need one. nothing. No kettle/tea making facilities in room. Rooms quite small for 2 people, but fine for one. The lobby can get extremely crowded sometimes, if you want something from the reception you need to wait a long time,it's the kind of place where buses full of tourists pull in. Also the receptionists don't speak very good English themselves, although I heard one of them even made bad jokes about a Russian guest who didn't speak English.
