Renate was extremely helpful helping us plan our routes via the U and S-bahn. She was welcoming and picked us up from the airport when we arrived late, and dropped us off at the S-bahn the following morning. She really made our first day in Berlin easier and welcoming. I would definitely stay with her again when we return.. The Hotel is very close to the airport, and also 5 min walk from S line train station, it takes only 30-45 min to get to the center of Berlin. all reviews »
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, nestled in a quiet residential area and spotlessly clean. The location was good for the airport (25 mins pleasant walk) and centre of Berlin (30 mins on S9 train from nearest station - one station up from the airport). The owner gave us a lift to airport on departure which is only 3-4 mins up the road. Highly recommend and will stay again. Thank you!. convenience to Schonefield Airport - 1 mile - walked there and back for evening meal. I want to thank so much for her fantastic service, picking us up from the airport and taking us there the next morning free of charge. A friendlier and more considerate host you'd be hard to find. The room and bathroom were spot on, immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent too. The Hospitality of thre Owners. The owner of the hotel is a lovely woman, she is very helpfull, especially with knowledge of German and English, she also will drive you to the airport. Not a good area for anything to do at night but there were some other bigger hotels on the road first left out of the hotel which may have bar and restaurant facilities. There is also a hut that sells pizzas on the same road as hotels - but definitely not to be confused with a 'Pizza Hut'!. noise from nearby railway and lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep during warm night.
