How could you not like this location right on the square, staying in a 750 year old house, in the beautiful spring and in Rothenburg????. Great location on market square, 700 year old hotel with great decor.Retaraunt was outstanding.Good restaurant, great location, and a nice, clean room. location right on the markt square.Location - right on the main square. They certainly served their purpose though!. I cannot specify the hotel Lamm but because of up-country(?) there are many flies in the coffee shop in German country side. Was advised that breakfast would be available at 7am but there was still no service at 8:30am so we had to go elsewhere to eat.Staff did not seem to have our booking.com reservation, but honored it anyway. (we made it about 14 hours prior to arrival). very small bathroom. no elevators. Breakfast was very minimal.showerhead is inconvenient. No free wireless internet. No parking as advertised. Bathroom smelled of mildew with mold in shower. There were very few staff available to assist. One staff member seemed to be responsible for EVERYTHING. The parking was advertised as only 1Euro a day, however parking was 1Euro per hour. In general, i believe this hotel is very poorly managed. Uncomfortable beds, and horrid old bedding. I had a terrible nights sleep. Rooms looking tired and very outdated. The room was a triple and it was tiny. I've stayed in bigger singlerooms for less money. We had to pay the bill in cash. If you sleep withthe windows open, you'll hear the extremely loud bells every hour on thehour. There was no parking nearby even though they said there was. Thebathroom was also tiny and the shower didn't even work properly.Breakfast was lacking. No outlets.
