So sweet! Awesome and unique! Like walking thru a museum, comfortable and luxurious. Centrally located. Rothenberg odT is a must see. Plenty to do, walking is a must!. The location of hotel was amazing. It was right in the center of town and right next to the Christmas Store!. central location and wonderful staff and restaurant. Closenesss to where we wanted to visit.

Head Chef Werner Ninow and his crew offer a variety of local and international dishes making use of fresh local produce. Located behind historic walls, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. Important information to guests

Please note that the hotel's kitchen is being renovated between the dates of 07 January and 10 April 2014. During this period, only snacks will be available for lunch and dinner.

Information about the area

Set right in the heart of Rothenburg, the hotel is easily accessible via motorway and train, as well as from major German cities such as Wuerzburg (approx. 45 minutes), Nuremberg (approx. one hour) and Frankfurt (approx. 2 hours).

Activities and tours include taking a walk along the historic city wall, which overlooks the old town, visiting Saint Jacobs Church, and exploring the many museums of Rothenburg. You can also take a tour of the town with the Nightwatch and visit the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas shops, which are open throughout the year.

Why not discover the wine region of Franconia and taste the local wines in the intimate tasting rooms of the wineries, or simply spend a day hiking or cycling in the country.

Travelling information

Arriving by car:
From the A7 Motorway, take the Rothenburg exit, follow the signs to Rothenburg and then to the Stadtmitte (town centre).

110 yards after entering the gate into the Old Town, turn left. Once you pass the market square, turn right into Herrngasse. The hotel is on your left-hand side.

On weekends and on German national holidays there is a general traffic restriction in the Old Town. However, as a guest you are allowed to drive up to the hotel at all times.
