I called in advance to say that we were late and they waited for us until 11 p.m., very much appreciated! Inside the hotel looks even better than in the photos, very nicely decorated and the room was very clean. We also paid for the parking, but we could park at any time right in front of the hotel, or in the back where it was closed at night. The staff was nice ! - Luminita

The family room (two bedroom suite) was bright, clean and verycomfortable. To those who complained of to tv - you're on vacation!Enjoy your destination! The hotel is perfectly positioned just insidethe wall on the main route into the city making it a breeze to find andthere is adequate parking available. - Glenn

Wonderful stay! The hotel is family run and you couldn't ask for more personal service. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were imaculate. Breakfast was included and it was very good. I would stay at this hotel again. - Anonymous

This was the best hotel on our entire trip. The staff was extremelyefficient, polite, and helpful. They responded inmmediately to ourrequests. We would defintiely stay again if we ever have the opportunityto return to Rothenburg (which we hope we can do). The location is great- quiet, but very close to the main square. Our stay at Historik Hotel Gotisches Haus was one of our best in Europe. So much so that we stayed an extra night. The welcoming check-in by the Gentleman owner was friendly and easy and the room was beautiful and immaculate and the hotel was in a perfect location also. A perfect stay. - Geoff

The rooms was beautiful and very spacious, especially by European standards. The staff were extremely helpful and accomdating in every way - from check in, to tips for what to see and where to go, to assistance with both our things and our general comfort after we checked out until we actually left Rothenburg. Quiet location, close to centre. The hotel oozes charm and character and the room was large and comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel is very child friendly. Good breakfast including a boiled egg with a smiley face if you like! - Andre

We were made to feel very welcome by our host, he helped carry our luggage to the room, insured a message was given to another guest and even gave us a bottle of wine when we left. The hotel public areas were simply gorgeous! The breakfast was delicious and served in the most extraordinary dining area. Our room was lovely with a spectacular panoramic view of the country side. - Marshall

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet here the best since it had extras like figs, fresh cut fruit and pineapple, pretty cookies, sweets, and cakes. The canopy bed and thick coverlet was really fine. The house and garden was fun to explore and take pictures. The computer with internet was very user friendly and in a nice separate room. Don't miss the night watchman tour at 8 p.m.! - Rebecca
