outstanding breakfast!!! located close to the city; internet free of charge. Though the interior of the hotel is a bit outdated, the room was clean, the beds were good and the bathroom had all we needed and was clean as well. Good shower! The hotel offered an excellent breakfast. We particularly liked the fact we could park our car at the back of the hotel on a private car park. The hotel surely offers value for money.all reviews »
staff attitude. The owner was excellent, a wonderful man, very helpful to us and would do anything to make us happy. It was quiet, and the free parking and free internet (although a bit challenging to get set up intially) made this hotel a good value.Very good - cold only - breakfast. The interior of the rooms were old-not charming old but something from the mid fifties, dark brown and dismal green that was depressing. The neighborhood was about a ten minute hike from the old town and the neighborhood was so-so at night. Also, no elevator and we were on the third floor. Wi-fi Internet working for Windows and Vista operating systems.No comfortable lounge or seating area. Very oldfashioned decor throughout. A bit like time travel.

Take line 61 towards Auerberg to Rosental (about 7 minutes). Walk back 20 metres to Rosentalstraße and then about 100 metres to the corner of Römerstraße.
- By bus:
Take bus number 638 / 551 towards Graurheindorf / Troisdorf to An der Esche (about 7 minutes). Walk back 30 metres and you will see the hotel on the left-hand side, on the corner of Römerstraße / Rosental.
- By train:
Take the S-Bahn (city rail) or U-Bahn (underground) 66 Telekom Express line towards Siegburg to Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz. Walk along Sandkaule – Welschnonnenstraße (about 5 minutes). Once you pass the Beethoven hall, you will see the hotel about 50 metres ahead on the right-hand side.
From Köln / Bonn Airport:
Take bus number 670 to Beethovenhalle. Then walk back about 80 metres. You will see the hotel on the right-hand side.
