i liked pretty much everything about it...i had a wonderful room, separated from the rest, under impressive eaves...it was clean and quiet, with plenty of hot water...the proprieter, aleksander, was thoughtful and courteous...the breakfast room was bright, the rolls and butter tasty...the hotel's on the top floor of a residential building, so there's a great view you can enjoy with your breakfast. all reviews »
very clean, comfortable, nice room, and good breakfast, 2 minites to the underground, helpful staff. The office staff were extremely friendly and allowed me to extend my stay by several days as I needed to be in Berlin longer than initially planned. The breakfast included in the price was also good. the room was large and clean and there was a nice selection of food for breakfast. the breakfast and its convenience for easy public transport. Very good sized and comfortable room.The breakfasts were excellent. the rooms were ok and clean. the breakfast was ok. The hotel is 15 min distance by metro from "center" Berlin. The two-bed room was good and the breakfast was good. The bathroom was located outside the bedroom. It is possible to park a car outside without paying. Lift. The no smoking anywhere in the hotel regulation did not please me. it was on the 5th floor, no lift. that the double rooms do not have double beds but two singles which cannot really be placed together. Our stay had to be paid in cash because the "credit card machine was not working" when the website clearly states cards are accepted. This throws the cash budget out by a long way. The bathroom is stated as a "private bathroom" but does not say you have to cross the main hall to get to it.The bathroom is across the corridor even in the "comfort" rooms. some of the staff could not speak german or english. The staff at the reception didn't speak english.
