A lovely spacious room....light-filled and airy....in a quiet, elegant section of the city...staff friendly and cool....wi fi connection just great. Close to all that I wanted to see. Very nice hotel. Clean, very comfortable beds, clearly new furniture, cleaned every day, not far from city centre and very close to transport links.Great location. Comfortable room. Huge bathroom. Not much to do around the neighborhood, but loved the quietness atnight, so you can't have your cake and eat it too.The opening of reception is not non-stop. clothing was not changed for my entire 5 days stay. why are there no shower curtains? after each shower we were forced to try to clean water off the bathroom floor. 1) You should provide non-smoking rooms. We, as non-smokers can smell cigarettes even though the room is well cleaned, and cigarette smells are not pleasant to non-smokers. This may not be an issue with European customers, but as someone from the US, I noticed it. 2) It would be convenient to have had access to a phone. Not everyone has access to their cell network when on vacation.No double bed available. The breakfast was awful. Although breakfast time was from 8 a.m., there was nothing ready at this time, we have to wait for everything. The selection of the breakfast was very poor with the lowest quality products. We were accomodated not in the hotel part but next to the hotel in the block which meant different comfort and well being feeling.if you leave early in the morning you should care of payment in advance, because there is nobody at the receiption in the earliest morning. No tv in English. I did not know I had to bring soap.

Travelling information

By train:
From Berlin's Hauptbahnhof (main railway station), take bus number 245 towards Nordbahnhof and get off at the Zinnowitzer Straße stop. From there, you can walk for 150 metres to Habersaathstraße 40a.

Alternatively, you can walk from Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) to Invalidenstraße towards Chausseestraße. Turn left into Schwarzer Weg and then right into Habersaathstraße. Walk for about 50 metres until Habersaathstraße 40a (on the right-hand side).

By plane:
From Tegel Airport (TXL), take bus number 128 to the Kurt-Schumacher Platz stop. Change onto the U6 U-Bahn towards Alt-Mariendorf and exit at the Zinnowitzer Straße stop. From here, walk for about 150 metres to Habersaathstraße 40a. Journey time is about 25-30 minutes.

From Schönefeld Airport (SXF), take bus number 171 to Rudow U-Bahn (underground) station. Take the U7 underground line towards Rathaus Spandau. Change at the Mehringdamm stop and take the U6 U-Bahn towards Alt-Tegel until Zinnowitzer Straße and exit there. From here, follow directions as above. Journey time is about one hour.
