  The hotel was very comfortable with modern, clean bedrooms in a delightfully restored coach house, which originally belonged to the chateau next door. Dominique, the owner cooked and served us a fabulous meal on the Tuesday night despite the restaurant being closed, which we chose from an extensive menu. The weather being warm we ate outside, but ... what people say » the restaurant is a lovely old converted coach house. Nothing not to like, but beware the restaurant is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and the nearest pl - The food was superbly cooked and presented and was of an exceptionally high standard. The accommodation was beautifully appointed and met all of our needs perfectly. The hosts Dominique and his wife were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble.

  This is the second time that we have had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau de l'Abbaye. The Renard family was as welcoming and gracious as ever; showing us to our room, pointing out the features of the room, offering to carry our suitcase. Very helpful staff and very comfortable beds and pillows. patio to sit outside and have a glass of wine which is hard to get when staying in 2 star Hotels. I would rate it most definitely 3 star.   We got upgraded and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the sea. We paid extra for breakfast in our room just to appreciate the view. We were given an excellent breakfast selection - Friendly staff. Wonderfull room with terrace on the sea-side.
