Needs all thge support they can get to keep the place riunning. It is a fascinating place tucked away in the countryside. The owners are friendly and helpful, recommending good places to eat and shop (even recipes for bread).

  The Vigie Vacancies has an excellent setting being a stones throw from the beach and lighthouse. We had booked a 2 bedroomed cottage, which is part of a small development arranged around a pleasant courtyard. The cottage was clean, bright and very well equipped and could not be faulted. We were also able to park on site with no problem. I had some... what people say » reservation about walking distance to the main part of town, however as there are 2 water taxis operating day and night a short walk away, costing 1 - We have never encountered this sort of accommodation before (a pull down bed from the wall) but it proved basic but acceptable and we were able to keep our bicycles inside the glass vestibule. The owner lent us a kettle and a toaster.
