Such a lovely, relaxing setting. The breakfasts were delicious, the room was enormous, and the owners were extremely sweet and helpful. We loved it there. We had two children with us (2 and 6), and they also loved it so much they didn't want to leave. We were only able to spend two nights, but could have stayed a week, even two. -

The owners couldn't have been friendlier. They had long conversations with my fiance which really helped him improve his French and took an active interest in making out stay as good as possible. The breakfast was amazing and the garden area outside our room was beautiful.

Our stay with the family and a family friend was just perfect. We only stayed one night on our trip to the Cote d'Azure but we certainly will come back to stay a couple of days. Our host Cheryl was great, the rooms were more than perfect, the house itself, garden and swimming pool are a beauty. Fantastic place! Nickolas and Barbara are such wonderful hosts- nothing was too much trouble, including making reservations for the excellent nearby restaurants (a short walk). Breakfast is sensational, great communal kitchen facilities if you want to cook. Lovely rooms, a pool, outdoor eating area and beautiful surroundings make this a wonderful place to stay. Just returned from a fabulous week here. Nadine and Jean-Yves are an extremely friendly and attentive couple for whom nothing is too much trouble to ensure everything runs smoothly for their guests. Accommodation was quiet and comfortable, pool was best we have ever used with plenty of room for all. Glorious views from the terrace outside our room with delicious breakfasts including Nadine's home made jams.
A very special place indeed, highly recommended.

I only stayed for a day at the Maison du Frene and wish I could have stayed for a week! The place is magical, pictoresque yet design ... Fun deco, warm staff. The owner is such a fun and welcoming person. You just feel happy to be there. A real treat! I recommend the Maison warmly and...
