Upon arrival, which was very late at night we were shown to our room which only had twin beds. At once the receptionist apologised and asked us to wait in the room for a few minutes, while he went away to see if he could locate for us a double room. The staff were highly attentive, especially Fernando, who I believe was the manager. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I loved the owners resident dog and 21 year old cat! Breakfasts were delicious...the pool inviting! The outside bar fun!! We will definitely go back to this wonderful hotel. -
