  Simply evereything about the hotel was good. The staff were friendly, our room was very spacious and comfortable and the food was excellent. The hotel is in a small, quiet village but it is only a short drive to the more touristy parts of the Lot region. Without question, one of the five most delightful hotels I've stayed in in the 18 countries we've visited. - Great location with an awesome view. Nice large clean room. The grounds were well maintained and we made good use of the pool. Taking the hotel shuttle into town let me enjoy more than just a few glasses if wine with dinner. The hotel staff spoke and understood English. This made it really easy when checking in and out etc. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through the area or making a special trip just to st cirq la popie.

  It was our second visit and we were warmly welcomed . As on our previous visit the meals were excellent and the local wines were good. The visit was good value for money.   Rooms are a good size, modern and the location is excellent. Ask for a room on the river side. Town is a short walk and parking was free and in plentiful supply when we went in August. The restaurant is very good but not the best option if your children are not gourmet eaters. Our 10 year old delighted in a perfect 'en point' steak but her pic... what people say » ky 6 year old sister was less than thrilled with a still-pink steak hache. - Lovely french hotel, right by the river. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A fridge in the room was useful. We had a balcony overlooking the river and we enjoyed the swimming pool and loungers. Would recommend the restaurant, had an excellent meal. But book early as terrace space soon gets taken. Free parking is a bonus.
