  La Treyne was beautiful, and a good value for this kind of luxury chateau. The location on the Drodogne was also excellent, but certainly out of the way.   This was just a beautiful stop. The hotel is run by a family who has completely built it up since 1982. It shows as a labor of love. The room was clean, comfortable and appointed in country furniture. They have their own dining room where we had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. The restaurant was very good and open on a Sunday Evening. We will go back and take our family. The hotel is in a very beautiful setting built in white stone architecture of the region. - In the most idyllic rural location. Very peaceful and quiet. We stayed last year and liked it so much we booked again. It is lovingly restored very old building, full og character. It also has a lovely swimming pool. We dined under the ancient yew tree in the garden, the food was outstanding. Highly recommend.

  It was our second visit and we were warmly welcomed . As on our previous visit the meals were excellent and the local wines were good. The visit was good value for money. The swimming pool looked very inviting but we didn't have time to use it. - A warm welcome, fantastic food. One previous review mentioned the food to be expensive...I have to disagree. The food was first class, all made with home grown ingredients. Even the flavour had flavour! The owners are wonderful and helpful. We highly recommend a visit.

We expected car parking problems but the staff assured us that we could park opposite the hotel. Very friendly staff and waiters in their restaurant. As we were on the top floor, fabulous hotel bedroom views of the valley - I have to emphasize the super location of this place, but to be aware that the church above the hotel rings bells at 7:45am,then again at 8am, however we did not mind it, after all you are at Rocamadour. The restaurant downstairs had excellent foods for dinner, and the BKF, though they are not included in the room rate.
