The hotel restaurant is indeed special.Hotel is easy to find and so convenient for the autoroute - this was our second stay and were told by the staff they had given us the same room... what people say » as on our first stay. very thoughtful.excellent breakfast and we were given directions to a very good restaurant across the bridge.

  Friendly welcome from Pascal the owner, beautiful room above the dinning room which looked on to the garden. Very private garden and pool. The food was amazing and selection of wines from Pascal was impressive. This Hotel is 4 star quality plus, not sure why it has 3 star status? Recommend his Cognac selection. Fantastic place. Would like a return... what people say » visit. - Lovely welcome from Pascal and his wife. After a 6 hour drive it was nice to relax in the pool. Dinner was truly superb, plus the wine list. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. It was quiet in spite of being so close to the autoroute, which was a major reason for choosing it. We will return

  It was a lovely cabin on the river. The room was cosy and clean with a nice view of the river and easy access for a walk along the river. It's a perfect location and peaceful surroundings to stay in if you would like to visit beautiful Macon city which is a 5 minute drive away. The farm animals on the property were nice to see too.

  Surroundings were just amazing and the saloon bar was so authentic you really felt like you had stepped back in time. Great value for the experience. Very comfortable. Great cat. - Beautiful location and a very nicely renovated castle. Friendly people. nice breakfast while sitting on the terrace looking over the garden.

  The owner was wonderfully helpful . The gardens were so gorgeous & peaceful . Both restaurants were excellent & it was lovely to have the choice of fine or bistro dining .   Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in a stunning location in the heart of Chablis. The room was large, with an excellent bathroom and aircon which was essential as the outside temperature during our stay reached 35 degrees! The gourmet restaurant was expensive but justified ite table distinguee status. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed too. The Dining Room was amazing. We had a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was a treat too. - Stylish hotel in nice little town. Looking at previous reviews I think it must now have been re-decorated. Stayed in main part this time where rooms are smaller but still with good facilities. Restaurant is high quality but not for budget guest. Staff are efficient and polite.

  Room was beautiful with a huge bathroom which housed an amazing claw footed bath, sinks, separate toilet and a table and chairs with cup and tea and coffee making facilities. Pool area, very relaxing (although we were bitten by mosquitoes). We arrived around 1.30 and we were able to go to our room, but when we asked if we could have lunch we were... what people say » told 'no finis' and offered a McDonalds 16km away! We had an exquisite meal in the gourmet restaurant in the evening. - This was an outstanding Chateau. Beautiful decor, fabulous Service and fantastic room. The Food was even more outstanding. As we arrived late we were quite expecting to have a cold platter but the owner had the Restaurant staff wait for us and we have a super dinner with all the trimmings.... really great hotel
