Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in a stunning location in the heart of Chablis. The room was large, with an excellent bathroom and aircon which was essential as the outside temperature during our stay reached 35 degrees! The gourmet restaurant was expensive but justified ite table distinguee status. The wine list of Chablis wines was comprehensive. Stylish hotel in nice little town. Looking at previous reviews I think it must now have been re-decorated. Stayed in main part this time where rooms are smaller but still with good facilities. Restaurant is high quality but not for budget guest. Staff are efficient and polite.
all reviews » It is a beautiful hotel in a really enchanting town. The room was excellent. Modern, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well appointed too. The Dining Room was amazing. We had a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was a treat too. The hotel is very nicely situated within walking distance to the centrum of chablis. A good parking behind the hotel. The room vas not to big but nice and clean with everything you need and the matrass was good. Also a very nice shower. The restaurant of the hotel is exellent. At my 4th visit, staying at a refurbished room with a bath tub, mini bar and the air conditioning system, I had no complaint about my room. Its restaurant offers traditional French cuisine at a reasonable rate, and its list of Chablis wines is just incomparable. The beautiful quiet rural location of the Hotel. Picturesque gardens, good private parking. Smart, clean room, comfortable bed. Fantastic restaurant gourmet menu. Pretty village centre with interesting shops. This was our 4th visit and we stayed for 7 days.Accomodation in the Residence was comfortable and well serviced.Food and service excellent,especially from, David,Restaurant Manager and Eric,Sommelier. The rooms are excellent value for money but we didn't try the expensive gastronomical restaurant. The Bistrot des Grands Crus, just a minute's walk away, is a great and affordable alternative. Room was simple but well done. Great shower in the bathroom. We didn't try the restaurant but it seemed to be very popular. Great to have off-road parking on the site. Good breakfast. Very small wardrobe; not a problem for us as we only stayed one night but would advise to book up a grade of room if you are staying longer as I imagine that storage could otherwise be a problem. We were there for only one night and didn't take dinner - so we can't judge the food quality/service - although breakfast was a very good buffet style. No uk programme on tv Top prices in great restaurant. The air on was a little temperamental. Breakfast too expensive. Nothing. Restaurant very expensive so we went down the road for dinner. Expensive food, so we ate elsewhere. Nothing. Breakfast cost was high compared to other accommodation. Breakfast at 14 euros per person was expensive.
