Sensitive design in renovating the apartment, blend of modern high specification in an old building. Superb beds and linen. Beautiful well kept garden and grounds. Reception very kind to open up gates as we arrived very late, we are very grateful to the hotel for this. Good location to get to into Dijon, we used it as a stopover point en-route from Calais to Uzes. This was a stopping off place on our way to Switzerland. Lovely building in beautiful garden setting but not far from main road/motorway. Room was good size with lovely decor and very comfortable. Dinner was not cheap but was very good. Nice little river running past hotel.
all reviews » Lovely room, very comfortable, smart, classy place with nice terrace dining and ideally situated mid-France for a stopover en route to the south. Dinner was gorgeous, gormet style and breakfast was superb and fresh. Friendly and smiley staff. Great stop-off to Alps, easy to find, superb situation, very peaceful charming building, good quality room. Staff attentive and efficient. Restaurant 5* food excellent value although wine pricey. The hotel was well located in the village which is beautiful. We would certainly return as what we thought would be a mundane stop over turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We stayed for a one night stopover while travelling to the Alps. The room was clean and comfortable and very quiet, and the breakfast was excellent. Staff unassuming and friendly, restaurant was great, food and service was excellent, one of the best meals in France for years. Attached to fantastic restaurant and perfectly situated off the main road for a stop-over if travelling South or to the Alps. Nothing, if we were not moving to the west of France we would make this our normal stop off between Calais and the Alpes. No restaurant on Monday but local resraurant booked for us was excellent. Nothing. room not particularly pre-heated on arrival and not comfortably warm in night - though weather exceptionally cold (-7C night), room temperature unacceptable. Otherwise, comfortable and shower hot!!. Through letsbookhotel.com I reserved a superior room with breakfast included but on arrival we were given a standard room and told that the price we paid only covered a standard room and not superior. They also wanted to charge us for breakfast as well but eventually knocked it off the bill.Disappointing not to receive what you expect. Meal . Started well with interesting entree,after that total disaster. My main looked ok but had a definite burnt oil taste . Dessert was just boring. Was the chef having a night off?. We were too close to a busy road. The restaurant closes on Monday.
