  Single room was small but comfortable, with shower and basin. Toilet was just down the hall. A small lift meant you didn't have to negotiate the stairs with bags. Close to the train station, it allowed me easy access for a late night arrival. About only a 15 minute walk to the historic Carcassonne walled city. Owners did not speak much English but... what people say » were friendly and very helpful. Close to shops and eateries. Cheap Wi-Fi access. Enjoyed my stay there. - This was a very typically French hotel which due to location, welcome and comfort was a joy to stay in. From arrival to departure the Proprietor was a joy and his attempts at encouraging guests to practice their French as he practiced his English was just brilliant. We travel regularly between France and Scotland,don't know when we are due next to travel from Carcassonne to Glasgow but would definitely stay here again. Merci Monsieur Proprietor

  We´ve had a very nice stay in this lovely Hotel. Mr. Denis Auclair was a very nice and extraordinary host who gives us every day the Feeling to be a part of the Family. The sourroundings of the Hotel, Canal du midi and the very beautiful garden of the Hotel, let us feel very good every day. Also the rooms gave us no reason for a complaint. Thanks to Denis, we will come back ! - Dennis made us very welcome and has a beautiful B&B. the room we said in was large and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Excellent place to wonder through Homps. Great place to start our Canal du Midi trip. Will definitely return and to Dennis thank you and by the way your wine was very enjoyable.

  The hotel was very well situated for a comfortable 15 min walk to the Old City. For those who cannot walk to far, there is the local tourist train that leaves from the doorstep and takes you directly to the Old City. We paid a lot less staying here than staying in the Old City itself. - The hotel was a typical French hotel. We opted for this hotel as we wanted something that wasn't like every other hotel chain. Quirky and very different from your chain hotels. Our room was quite big for a French hotel and the decor was as we expected. We stayed in room 23. The breakfast was French as you would expect and all the staff were polite and friendly.

  The hosts of this guest house made us feel really welcome. The blazing lovely fire in the sitting room greeted us on our arrival and the dinner (5 courses) was delicious at only 20 Euros each. We weren't expecting to eat with the hosts but it turned into a very enjoyable evening. We stayed in the attic which had a bedroom area (1 dble & 1 sing... what people say » e beds), lounge area, kitchenette & shower. The views from the bedroom were beautiful. A river flowed past and the mountains over looked the house - A stunningly good experience. Visitors are guests in a lovely home. Paul, le Patron, is a very hospitable, cheerful, helpful and friendly host. In addition he is a superb chef. Aux Quatre Saisons is worth a visit just for dinner alone. The price charged for dinner there should probably be at least three times as much as Paul charges and would be in any Restaurant with any reputation; 6 splendid courses with appropriate very well chosen wines, all inclusive. This is Michelin star cuisine. Visit
