The location of this hotel is great, being only a short walk to the metro and the whole road is full of restaurants, shops and bars. There is also a market at the weekends right outside the front door. We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and the staff arranged secure parking across the road at a very reasonable rate (I can't remember how much, but I think it was about 15 Euro per day). all reviews » Amazing situation, close to Père Lachaise where you can catch the 96 bus to the magnificent big shops in centre of city. Ménilmontant métro station is very close to the hotel. Fabulous fresh fruit and bakery next door, Belleville market on the boulevard x2 a week. The owners of the hotel are brilliant & helpful. They are well informed about cultural facts and what goes on in the city and offer intelligent service at all times. The staff were very friendly and helpful about everything. There is a little bar downstairs where many locals come to have a drink in the afternoon. Very relaxed and easy-going folks and you could get an affordable breakfast, as well, with bottomless coffee. The metro stop is a few meters away so very convenient to get around. I will always book here when I travel to Paris. The price which was ok without having to knock at a hostel door. Breakfast (not included in night price) was good. The staff of the hotel is really nice. The hotel is part of a small neighborhood café which is really charming too. the neighborhood is charming, and there's plenty of small restaurants around (there's a very good "algerois" restaurant just across the street). The area the hotel was in didn't feel safe for two young girls who would be returning from late nights. It did not look particularly clean or tidy when entering but quite cluttered. It was also very small as were the rooms and bathroom. The safe in the room didn't work and some of the people who were at the bar made us feel quite uncomfortable. Breakfast was an extra 7euros50 on top of the price and did not look nice at all. room was very small, not very clean and toilet in it! wifi is not good. small room with very cramped shower. Breakfast is charged separately, it is expensive and not plentiful. We found hair in the sink. Concerts till late night prevents from sleeping.It is not a suitable hotel for a business trip. It was the worst hotel that I've been in my whole life. Most of the hostels are much better than this one - and this supposed to be hotel. It's dirty, small, stuff in unfriendly especially when you don't speak French. No towels, no lift, no free WiFI and stinks. It was very noisy at the night. Small and cold room. I booked private parking but when I arrived they couldn't give me the key... Finally I found one other private parking place for much more expensive... - This hotel is actually regularly hosting music events on the ground floor level, which led to have live music till 2AM… - I had to look for someone to give me the keys when I arrived - Definitely not the place to stay for a long time. The smell of marajuana in the corridor.
