Clean well air conditioned triple room. Loved the decor and the hotel lay out. It's worth noting it is in fact Hotel Chateaubriand, not Romancier anymore. Our welcome was warm, and our 2 night stay very comfortable. Breakfast was typically french but of an excellent quality, maybe not worth 22 euros but worth the ease of not having to traipse around trying to find something to eat on the Camps Elysee. Excellent location, literally minutes from George V metro and the Arc De Triomphe. Would heart.
all reviews » The location was excellent, the hotel is only few meters away from Champs Elysees. The hotel is a typical french hotel with its elite decoration. I like the decoration a lot. Also the breakfast was excellent. It was the best breakfast for me in whole Europe. You can find several kinds of cheese, butter, bread, jams,etc.. So they do not offer you only croissant .. It was delicious. The staff was very kind and friendly. So I love the hotel very much.. Dont hesitate staying there.. It was excellen. The service is excellent, The rooms are spacious, It's a silent hotel that is recently renovated. A real four star hotel !! Parking is possible, only the maximum size of the car is a bmw 5 or mercedes e. The cost of laundering my clothes and that the bar fridge in the room is only on when I am in the room, subsequently the drinks are not cold. The safetybox was situated close to the floor in a cupboard, behind a sofa and with no ligth. It was very difficult to use. The ligthening in the room and bathroom was poor. The name needs to be changed, or at least they should add a sign outside to explain that it's called Hotel Chateaubriand, not Le Romancier as listed on letsbookhotel.com. Rooms are very small, there is no space if you have a big luggage. The staff is polite only until you request a room change. There they start to be unfriendly. Skip this hotel if possible, but if you already booked and no way back - don't buy with breakfast, because this is 22 euro for nothing. Nice "Braserie, Patisserie" very close.
