This hotel provided us a good value and comfortable rest during our stay in Paris. The breakfast was adequate and very good. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was near the Metro and close to many shops and stores where we were able to pick up a warm baguette of bread right outside the train station, walk down the street and pick up some wine and meat and cheese and have a nice dinner in our room. I would recommend this hotel for travelers visiting Paris who want to stay in

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.

The hotel is very close to Rome Metro Station which makes getting around very easy. Although the bathroom was small, with a separate toilet it was quite adequate with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Metro station is 100 metres from hotel and the centre of Paris is reachable in 15 minutes although Metro can be very packed during the rush hours. Hotel is very clean. The location is absolutely stunning,very close to a big Boulevard, a good bar just in front of the building and at 5 min from the Metro La Fourche.
