  The staff were so helpful! Whatever we needed or wherever we needed to go, they directed us to the right place. Very close to the underground train and buses. Grocery stores, ATM's near by. Restaurants for all taste. Some good, and some bad. But, you good not do better with the staff. They made the stay very nice. This is not a luxury hote... what people say » l. No air conditioner in rooms, so m - Picked this hotel by reading reviews and didn't regret a second. Excellent location - metro is only 3 min walk, lots of shops around, pharmacy and lots of fruit counters. Were returning back to hotel around 11-12 in the evening and didn't spot a single weirdo. The room was spotless and warm every single day. Bathroom and toilet are very clean with the towels changed every day.   Everything. Staff was so kind and helped us in many ways ( especially with the luggage lost by the airline). They will remember me for the rest of their life. I think we called hundreds of times to the airport with their help. Hotel is very close to Sacre Coeur and Jules Joffrin metro station. From there you can get anywhere in Paris. Many restaurants around the hotel, a MonoPrix store fo - This hotel provided us a good value and comfortable rest during our stay in Paris. The breakfast was adequate and very good. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was near the Metro and close to many shops and stores where we were able to pick up a warm baguette of bread right outside the train station, walk down the street and pick up some wine and meat and cheese and have a nice dinner in our room. I would recommend this hotel for travelers visiting Paris who want to stay in

  Staff were extremely welcoming on arrival. When I handed my booking reference in the gentleman checking us in noticed i had blacked out the price and asked if it was a surprise, I advised it was for my husbands birthday and he wished my husband a happy birthday and asked if he could invite us to the bar for a complimentary cocktail or glass of cha... what people say » mpagne to celebrate, which was a much appreciated gesture and wonderful start to our trip. We were then shown to our room which we were very impressed - The staff without exception were superb and couldn't do enough to help. We had a three night stay, changing to a different themed room each day. All of the rooms were great and although "compact and bijou" were plenty big enough for our needs. We had a great time in Paris aided in no small part by the knowledge that at the end of each day we would be returning to the Secret. We would recommend without hesitation and will definitely be staying there again.

  Staff very friendly - The room and ensuite were newly refurbished in an interesting arty style and bright colours, which I liked. The room seemed so new, as if I was the first person to stay in it! Hopefully it will age well. The hotel is in a sidestreet, so not too much traffic noise, but very convenient for Gare du Nord.
