  The staff were so helpful! Whatever we needed or wherever we needed to go, they directed us to the right place. Very close to the underground train and buses. Grocery stores, ATM's near by. Restaurants for all taste. Some good, and some bad. But, you good not do better with the staff. They made the stay very nice. This is not a luxury hote... what people say » l. No air conditioner in rooms, so m - Picked this hotel by reading reviews and didn't regret a second. Excellent location - metro is only 3 min walk, lots of shops around, pharmacy and lots of fruit counters. Were returning back to hotel around 11-12 in the evening and didn't spot a single weirdo. The room was spotless and warm every single day. Bathroom and toilet are very clean with the towels changed every day.   We stayed at Riviera for 3 nights, I have to say the Staff of the hotel were really friendly and helping. The hotel had internet for free in loby, and also at nights when we want to drink tea, they borrowed us their kettle. They also helped us about sightseeing. The rooms were good as well, the beds were a little bit small, but comfortable.   We enjoyed our stay at Ibis Lafayette very much. Location is excellent - just a mere moment from Gare du Nord in a quiet side street. I imagine it may be a bit far from the centre to some people but the metro is just 2 min away and it will take you to Louvre in 10 mins. Breakfast is really really good, fresh juices, selection pastries, ham, cheese... what people say » , fruit, good coffee. This is the only hotel I found that had breakfast included and it was of such a great quality too. The room is basic but has eve - The room was compact and comfortable with a nice view of the Pierre Semard street, quiet and so typically Parisian. Breakfast was awesome, everything fresh and abundant. The staff very helpful. We really had a great stay at this hotel which I recommend to other travellers. Location, 5 minutes walking from Poissoniere metro station and 10 minutes leisurely walking to the Opera Garnier and Galeries Lafayette. Great!

It was quite at night but still very close to the sights and a very good metro line. - GHood hotel with friendly staff. Great position close to Cadet metro station.
