We had a lovely stay in kongressikoti. The host was very hospitable and friendly. The room was spacious and it came with in-room facilities that make this hostel scores high in value-for-money. It is a small hostel with only about 10 rooms, but the design makes it very homey. We definitely had a pleasant stay.

Perfect location, just a five-minute walk from the station and about 10 minutes to the Esplanade. Cozy, clean, well-occupated nice furnished modern room. Stable wi-fi connection in the room. This is a very nice accomodation, clean, with facilities for home cooking. The location is in the old part of the center, near the famous cathedral and the market and near the boats for trips on to the near islands. We had a great stay over there, also because the very exceptional weather, sunny and warm. At that moment the highest temperatures in Europe.

Location for attending the Flow Rock Festival (saw incredible Kraftwerk!!) and for bus travel to/from the airport was unbeatable.
Right next to the main train station/metro and facing an open bus staion - yet without any of that sleaziness that infects European train/bus stations.
Finns are just too nice to be sleazy and are also darn good-looking!!! They have to be the handsomest race I have ever or will ever see.

They don't have a kitchen or serve any breakfast. Rooms were small
but clean. Rooms are decorated in the style of 60's and the shower
was from the 60's also with its flexible hose (this means that you
can't rotate the shower or you will have no water at all). Location
is perfect. Bed was good, pillows weren'T. It's just an ok hotel

The lady in charge is excellent and went out of her way to help, even after we left (my wife forgot her jacket which got locked inside on leaving at 03:00 am. She sent it by post. The apartment is gorgeous and spacious for one or two people. I loved having a washing machine as i was travelling for a few weeks. The area around felt very safe with some lovely local restaurants and services nearby. The publuc transpirt access was really handy as well.
