First and foremost, the staff were gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. This was my first trip to Helsinki and I wanted to make sure that I would stay in a place where there was concierge service, so that I could get help when and if I needed it. The hotel is modest, with tiny rooms, yet it was quite clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely excellent - right off of Mannerheiminte, which is a main thoroughfare, which runs directly through City Centre. It was very easy to navigate f.
all reviews » We stayed at Hotel Finn on night. Rooms were clean, service was nice. They don't have a kitchen or serve any breakfast. Rooms were small but clean. Rooms are decorated in the style of 60's and the shower was from the 60's also with its flexible hose (this means that you can't rotate the shower or you will have no water at all). Location is perfect. Bed was good, pillows weren'T. It's just an ok hotel right in the center of Helsinki. Great location, friendly and helpful staff, modern and clean room. Lockers available to leave luggage and they even let us do so for 3 days while we were travelling away from Helsinki at no cost. Breakfast is next door and a great deal at 5 euros. Ok, you need to pay attention to the address to find it as its on the 6th floor of a building. This is not a problem, it took me seconds to find it. The shower's water was either cold or boiling. My room key was deactivated at 6 am on the last day; when I closed the door I realised I forgot something inside, but I could not get in again. I fould the picture of two policemen kissing each other of bad taste. Nothing really. The bathroom would have benefited from a shower curtain. The hotel should buy some new towels. It was a little bit chilly in the room. The room was very small and the hotel was dark. The pillows were horrible and the internet was very slow. Bathroom is tiny. Batroom floor is also shower floor! The sink is very small and the whole room is also the whole shower. There was a lot of noise due to construction work below, really loud. Wish that someone at least could have warned for that... Rather stuffily. The room was so small and we couldn't open windows. The room was a little bit too noisy, sounds from the street could clearly being heard. wifi signal low, noisy with all the bars around. Room is so cold Bathroom small. Bathroom could be better. Noise outside is very audible inside the room,despite the fact that i lived far away from reception. When people leave hotel, when personnel clean rooms all this is very well heard. It's even better to stay in a rooms near reception, because there're a double doors. No kettle. It was a bit pricey. Triple room was a twin with a sofa bed. It was too noisy. People outside were partying all night long. We couldn't fall asleep untill 5 am. And we heard neighbour's tv and them speaking.
