Al Ma‘murah Hotels

Stayed in Alexandria for 4 nights at the Sheraton - the room was clean and the view superb - we flew into Cairo and got a taxi to the train station and then train to Alexandria (pay for a first class ticket 65 pound, although 50pounds when we returned to Cairo??)- death defying ancient taxis, crazy traffic and filth everywhere - first thoughts were my god get me out of this country - porters grab your bags immediately and want money for everything!! Don't pay more than 5 egyptian pounds to anybo - Mark

Hotel Review: "The area where the hotel is is very quiet, very romantic, elegant and beatiful.Room view is astonishing,rooms are very clean and spacious.<br />There is a live music every day in the hotel lobby till late. Food is excellent, taste is excellent too. If you fancy McDonalds for children'lunch, it is 2 minutes away from the Hotel. The only thing is that the swimming pool was not heated, but we used it and it was very clean with good facilities around (showers, towels, toi - William
