Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. Perfect, newer, quiet, clean and restful. I highly, highly recommend this hotel. I especially LOVED the breakfast area...3rd floor attic with tons of character. Wow! - Ha

We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Amazing value. Huge apt with washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen immense. The emails with the contact person were quickly answered. With her help we had booked a taxi to pick us up at the airport. We already required a late check in and our plane was over an hour late arriving after midnight. The taxi driver waited for us and gave us the keys to the apt. We were very grateful. The restaurant across the street was great too.

The room was very comfortable with wing back chairs for sitting, large desk and comfortable beds. Air conditioning which was needed in an attic room was great. Plus they just opened a top deck for eating with a view over Prague. A little refrig was perfect; Trams close by.
