excellent hotel for the money - Stephen

I highly recommend the Hotel Julian. It is a few blocks south of the main tourist area and a wonderful break from the crowds. It is a good-size hotel with a smaller pension type atmosphere. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day with very helpful and courteous staff. You are buzzed in at the front door which makes it very secure esp. given what you read about Prague's crime issues. The cozy lobby sitting areas/library are a delight although I wish the larger library one was non-smoking (only ' - Alan

The hotel, staff and faciilities are wonderful. The staff work exceptionally hard, and are always ready to help. The breakfast was very good, continually topped up, so plenty for everyone. Evening menu had plenty of choices. The bedroom and en suite were beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally clean. Will definatley return. Only dissappointment, no tea or coffee in room. - Fiona

Beautiful property plenty of character in a very central and quiet location. Room was small but stylish, comfortable, and spotless. Lots of amenities. Towels, robes, bed-linen without many years of "service". Common areas are very elegant, sometimes seductive with good choice of flowers and surrounding music, but for some reasons, few seem to be seduced by it since the hotel was almost deserted. Sales Dept. must be apparently busy in something else. It may be appreciable to be a - Angela

we spent our honeymoon at hotel elysee, and everything was excellent. frontdesk people and roommaids was polite, helpful and nice. our room was beautiful and clean. the bed was sooo comfy and the bathroom was just perfect. i liked so much the Mucha pictures on the wall and that the door opened by card. the breakfast guys was a bit like "who the hell are you and why are you asking me about the breakfast?..." and we found a lipstick print on a washed glass... but the food was enough, t - Ulla

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, checking in 14 of us very quickly before showing us to our immaculate and modern rooms, fitted with all we could need, including plenty of mirrors (albeit not above the desk!) and lovely toiletries and hairdryer. A welcome drink following check-in was very welcome too! A good selection of breakfast items set us up for the day with great coffee, especially after a late night! We stayed in the Corinthia for four days prior to a Viking River cruise. The hotel has very nicely appointed common areas with comfortable and clean rooms. There was easy access to public transportation and the Concierge was very helpful with providing tour information and arrangements. There is easy access to all of the local historical sites such as Prague Castle, the Old Town center and Jewish quarter. Day trips to Ceske Krumlov and Cesky Budejovice are easily arranged and very worthwhile - David

We stayed here with our infant for three nights, and really enjoyed our stay. They provided a great crib with adorable bedding, and a tiny terry cloth robe for our son, and on Sunday they had a children's play area during brunch. Breakfast provided us with many healthy options for the baby, and made for an easy start to our days. The staff were efficient and polite, and our room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being out of the heart of the tourist areas, as nearby restauran - Gavin

Really enjoyed our stay at the Jalta- its exceptionally clean and friendly.(special mention for Paul) The breakfast is fantastic and we had a lovely meal one evening in the restauant.. We had a very good deal through well known late booking website. which also provided free soft drinks from the mini bar. I used airport transfer taxi booked through orange budget airline site- well worth it. Our room was on the sixth floor overlooking Wenceslas Square-so the view was great. We stayed 5 nights at the President hotel, and enjoyed every one of them. We had an arrengment with the hotel, in a fair price, to pick us from the airprt and to the airport and it was worth every Krona, as we traveled with a 10 month's baby and needed to feel safe and comfortable. The location of the hotel is absolutly great- 5 minuts walk from the very heart of the the city- the old town square, and 2 minuts walk from the Jewish quarter and the very lovely and unique Parizka street. We loved the apts. We were 5 people (1 couple+3 friends). They are in the center of Prague, you can reach on foot all you need. The apt was new, clean and very comfortable. The receptionists were very kind and helpful and they also helped us find a parking for our car nearby. There was a problem with heating the first night, but they called someone immediately and he got it fixed. Prices were fair. Next time we go to Prague, we'd love to stay there again. - Victoria

The hotel is in a fantastic location, nice and quiet but very central, the Charles Bridge is just 30 seconds away!!! The room was fantastic with a great view of the river and bridge, the staff were excellent and the whole time was fantastic! I would recommend this to anyone! The only negative point (if there was one) was the shower in the bathroom, as they had placed the shower too low and me and my partner are quite tall so we had to duck a bit, but thats not soo bad! - Lindsey
