Our apartment was excellent and we could not fault anything we had a balcony and loved sitting out at night watching people and traffic It was in an excellent location with supermarket nearby and walking distance to centre of tourist area. We loved the space and all the modern facilities. The location - most sights are within walking distance and the tram stop (no 22) to the castle is at the top of the street. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The apartment itself was spacious and clean. I can highly recommend the Residence Karolina.

Can highly recommend. The size of our apartment (54) was impressive, the place was clean and had all amenities you find in your house. The location is extremely convenient (5 min. to Karlovy Most), staff - helpful. We couldn't find any fault in Residence Karolina.We really felt at home. Excellent location. Excellent value for money. The staff were really helpful: we asked to have the hairdryer repaired and if they had a plug adapter and everything was sorted out when we came back home at night. Almost everything, the appartment was spacious and beautifully designedand furnished, can not be better. We risked parking in front of the hotel and after 3 hours had our car clamped.Not a criticism of the residence, but you should know that the "reliable" cab service that was made by the apartment service never showed up to take us to the airport when we needed to leave - it is not your fault, but I think that you should know - it did not change our wonderful experience. Only comment: More spare bedding available, and a few small sundries pre-stocked (ie salt and pepper in the kitchen).There has been welcome tea, coffee, shampoo and sugar on arrival. I would expect new shampoos(at least) to be put every day, and not just once. Needed to use my own shampoo for later days. A bit expensive, but would still recommend it. We satyed in apartment 14. And guests coming in and out of the front door were very loud. The door kept banging. This was a bit annoying as some guests were coming in and out at 5 am. Also the guests in the apartment above us, had a party one night and were very loud.That I've booked 2 months in advance only to find that the rooms got 20% cheaper a month in advance. The sollution provided to get the room at the same price lower was not practical. kitchen could be more equiped with bowls, glasses and stuff. A little noisy in the hallway. My only complain is that the hair dryer from my apartment was broken and I only noticed late at night after having washed my hair. Nevertheless, I called the 24/7 phone number and in 15-20 minutes a member from the staff was at my door with another hair dryer. Anyway, I believe all facilities should be checked before a new guest enters the apartments.Lack of access to English channels (I.E. bbc, cnn, etc) on the excellentequipment available in the apartment; would render the equipment uselessto a significant number of guests. Lack of information available in theapartment to use available equipment, I.E. the washing machine. the map which provided from the receiption is not precise enough. There was no information about the deposit fee, not until i arrived the check-in desk. it will be nice if there is a little booklet about the residence, such as the transportions, services and general information about the residence.None. irregular and unpredictable maid service; inconsistency in information between booking.com and the front desk; lack of replacement toilet paper, soap, etc; lack of a ground line telephone for making and receiving local calls. Just some suggests for improvement, these are not complaints: they should solve the problem with car parkings, having down pillows or something more comfortable, make available more utensils for the kitchen such as a coffee maker, have more blankets available for guests to use, the air conditioning would not be enough for summer but it was fine for us. no cafe machine. we've been surprised to discover that they have no parking facilities available for this location and they recommend one of their location which they make as aware that is far way or the public parking 10 to 15 minutes walking. One day the cleaner failed to clean the kitchen and one of the rooms. There was no toilet paper. Shampoo and shower gel are not provided. hairdryer didn't work. Too Ikea styled.

Karoliny Svetle No. 4 is the unique neo-renaissance building and its history goes back to the 1860, the date when the construction of Prague National Theatre in the close proximity commenced. The latest reconstruction punctually preserves its original layout and interior design with intention to provide a modern style and comfortable apartments with all up-to-date standards. Nowadays the building is charming everyone with its colourful facade ornamentation and the beautiful entrance hall, an architectural piece of art itself. Some of the apartments in higher floor are overlooking Old Town roofs with a panoramic view of Prague Castle.

Please note that children staying in existing beds can benefit from the following discounts which will be provided at check-in: - children of age 2 and younger can stay free of charge in existing beds - children of ages 3 to 11 will be charged EUR 10/night when staying in existing beds The maximum of 2 children can stay in 1 room. Please note that a security deposit of EUR 100 (1-bedroom apartment) or EUR 200 (2-bedroom apartment) is required upon arrival. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the apartment. Please inform Residence Karolina in advance of your expected arrival time. The guests can choose from one or two bedroom apartments situated on 5 floors, modern and spacious lift is operating in the premises. One bedroom apartments are suitable either for 2 (executive version) or for a party of 4 with extra sleeping facilities in additional room. Each of two bedroom apartments has two en-suite bathrooms to provide enough peace and privacy for 4 staying guests. Additionally to that you can temporarily accommodate another 2 friends by using a large comfortable sofa located in the roomy living rooms.
Apartments are furnished with aim to provide maximum comfort and versatility for guests staying a few days or several months. You can expect modern furniture and decoration, state-of-the-art appliances like home cinema, DVD, LCD-TV. Kitchens are fully equipped with the microwave oven, glass-ceramic kitchen stove, refrigerator etc. Bedrooms with their large and comfortable beds and en-suite spacious and well-lit bathrooms (bath or shower)

Travelling information

Residence Karolina is located in the Old Town area between the National Theatre and Charles Bridge. The house is situated on a quiet side street, a few steps from Narodni Street, one of the main Prague centre boulevards.

It's just 12 km from the International Airport Ruzyne in and just 1 km from the main train station. For clients staying at least 4 nights the transfer from the airport or the main train is offered free of charge (one way).
