All we can say is "Wow"! We had 6 adults and 2 children under age 2 with us. The apartment at Malostranska Residence was over the top for what we were hoping for. We loved it! Advertised as room for 4 (2 double beds) we had come prepared with an air mattress for the other two adults but there were also two full size couches and a love seat. A full kitchen (which we would have usd a lot if we had stayed more than one night) and a bathroom with a shower and a full-size bathtub plus the toilet in.
all reviews » Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . Altogether I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again a great experienc. The location was great and the room fit our needs perfectly. Family of 4 with 2 comfortable bedrooms, a nice bathroom and a small kitchen area. Just a short walk from the Charles bridge, it provided a safe, budget friendly, central downtown location to explore the sites in Prague. The staff was very friendly assisting with parking, restaurant recommendations, providing a city map, and showing us how to find the English tv channels. We really enjoyed our visit. We upgraded because we needed 2 bedrooms. We had the presidential suite for 2 nights and then a 2 bed apartment for the 3rd night. Both were incredible, size, decor, very grand with antique furniture and large chandeliers. All at no extra charge !!! we were very pleased. Location was excellent, walking distance to all the major attractions. Lots of various priced restaurants and shops all local. The location of this Residence is great- very close to Charles Bridge. We stayed in Presidential Suite with three couples. Hugh apartment with great facilities. Very nicely furnished with antique styled. Wouldlove to come backand spend more time in Prague. For three couples, the cost was great value- much less then separate rooms at other hotels etc. Great building practically at the foot of the iconic Charles Bridge which makes it central to most of the great sites in Prague. Huge, lovely space with an AMAZING shower. Elevators to help you with the luggage and a very helpful staff. Even though the location is very central, it is very quiet b/c of the double windows. Location was amazing; so many great restaurants and shops just outside the door. Prague castle a 15 min walk, Charles Bridge at the door, and the hop-on, hop-off bus one block away. Exquisitely decorated and comfortable beds! Also, great kids' TV in English (good for downtime). We'll definitely stay here again. The staff is excellent, very helpful and warm. Location is absolutely convenient, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel, the public transport can easily take you to all the major places. The only identifying mark on the outside of the building is the large 24 on the door. Although we had to move our vehicles before 11 a.m. and we were planning on spending the whole day in Prague, we moved the cars (they were parked at a facility a few blocks away) by 8 a.m. and parked in the lot across the street from the Malostranska Residence until 3 pm for only 720 CZK total for the day for both cars on Easter weekend!. Nothing to comment all excellent. It was difficult to find the hotel as there was no sign or other markings indicating a hotel. It was just a big door with a big lit up 24 above it. Not much, some road noise, but you are in a city !. A bit hard to find. Could do with a more prominent sign. Only one toilet/bathroom. No air conditioning, but didn't need it this time of year. Summer might be a different story. There can be a bit of street noise from the busy square, but heavy double windows blocks out almost all of the noise. Reception was a bit difficult to find -- go to the Starbucks on the square and look across the street for the door with the 24 in Christmas lights above it. The room is a little small. Kitchen in our 2 bed apartment was very very small and there was no washing machine. May be it is a season or the popularity of Prague--the price is a little bit on the high side. Leaving!. Nothing. A little difficult to find however almost everywhere we have stayed on this trip has been difficult to locate. Nothing. Nothing to complain. Not much..... No safe, toaster or iron provided in the apartment. garage is not in the same place as the appartment building (5 mins walk). Second sofa bed was a bit uncorfortable. A bit diffcult to find. Look for #24 at the door. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. No signs, I wondered for about 40 minutes to get to this rezidence. Private parking is quite expensive ( 25 E per night ). Breakfast is very good, but not a "buffet" - a long wait. Breakfast in a naighbour building was ok, but the place itself was too small and cold (both doors open when the weather was really cold). nothing. Distance from airport and train station necessitated taxi rides. There was honestly nothing that we didn't like. Great location but the light from Malostranske namesti came in from the square. You might want to have a curtain, similar to the window curtains, in the entrance to the cupola space. We dealt with it by hanging very light hangers with very light shirts on the circular windows, but if done regularly it could damage the lead of the window.
