The hotel is out of "old Prague" but only 15 - 20 minutes walk from Charles Bridge; which is why it is pretty good value. The rooms appeared quite new & most renovations of the building are done - except the courtyard. They now have a buffet breakfast which was very good in the downstairs restaurant. Plus it is close by (5 minute walk) to a very new & large shopping mall for anything you may need; also a small Tesco is over the road & other local shops closeby. We were traveling by .

I like a thicker pillow and so I brought my own, as theirs were typical thin European style. It also said when I booked that breakfast came to your room and you had to Pre order but they stopped doing that. They are renovating the building and itis nearly finnished but can be noisy and will be better in the near future. Not enough electric sockets, only one small trash bin. Toilet seat didn't stay up. No air condition. Graffiti on buildings across the street, but it seems that there is plenty of graffiti in the city as well. breakfast was very poor quality, the fruit juice looked like colored water and the croissant were never fresh. I would say that overall the hotel is a bit overpriced. Curtains are too short to cover the entire window. Room was not ready after we checked in. No proper lobby Elevator outside of building- it was very cold, and therfore we had to wear jacket to go for breakfast. Yard of house very dirty, with food left overs in bucket. Not luxury, just good. No lobby. It was a inner court's repairing while I stay their. room was strangely narrow and long, bathroom super small. The front door and office was closed at 4:30 pm ... for an hour. Absolutely no fun to get off the train and want to check in and. food was so so. Lack of Air Conditioning but the weather was just too hot.
