We booked Deluxe Suite during October 2013 which was excellent, comfortable, very clean, had a huge bathroom and was decent in size compared to European standards, room can easily fit up to 4 people comfortably as it has two separate rooms. Breakfast was very good with fine variety. Staff is very attentive and helpful. We have asked for airport transfers through the hotel and it was prompt and reasonably priced. Location is close to Old Town (10 minutes walk) and Charles Bridge (20 minutes wal.
all reviews » We stayed here for 4 nights from 7th to 11 th April.This is a lovely small boutique hotel which is excellent value for money.A Wonderful hot and cold buffet selection for breakfast.5 Minutes walk to Wincesles Sq.rooms include Mini bar,Safe,Tea/Coffee,We-Fi,Flat Screen T.V.on suite with toiletries,hairdryer,heated towel rail and excellent shower with plenty of hot water.Spotlessly clean.in my opinion it deserves 9.0 review.Safe car park/garage as well.Would absolutely recommend this hotel and wo. Very good hotel, indeed. Great beds, good mattresses. We had a suite on the first floor, nice and comfortable. But the best part of our staying was the staff at the hotel, especially the receptionist - a young lady, very friendly and polite. After we've checked out, she let us leave our luggage and the car in the garage for the whole day (as we were staying in Prague until late afternoon) - it was very convenient, as Prague is really difficult for parking. If we are in Prague next time, for sur. Loved this hotel, stayed at the top floor radium apartment it was enormous, three of us stayed and had a bedroom each, relaxing in the sitting room at the end of the day was luxury, so well equipped , fridge , dishwasher, washing machine, all wasted on us for a weekend but would be great if you stayed as a family or stayed longer, great breakfast, friendly staff would highly recommend and would stay here again, my third trip to Prague, my fourth wil definately be staying at 1 republic. Excellent staff - gave us some great dining suggestions nearby (Pivovarsky Dum was great). Parking is on-site and secure - no need to worry about driving in the city (also hear that car crime is occasionally bad depending on the area). Close to anything you want to see - probably a good 20 min walk to Charles bridge, but can be in the main area of downtown Prague in less than 10 minutes. Great breakfast with plenty of hot options too. Would definitely stay again. This is a very well located hotel, just a 10 minute walk from Wencelas Square and it is a 5 minute walk from the nearest Metro and Tram stop. The underground car park is secure and quite unusual to use! The quality and finish of the bathroom in our room was good. It is in a very quiet area, so one can get a good night's sleep (as long as your room neighbours are quiet, as the walls are fairly thin!). The location was very good - close to the Prague main train station so with easy and fast access to pulic transport - especially towards the airport. Also, it's very close to the National Theater and the boulevard is excellent - close to the Dancing House and the area is filled with cosy narrow romantic streets - it will be a pleasure to walk to the Old Town Square from there (10-15 min walk). We stayed in top flour app "Radium" for one night. There were plenty of space for our family with 3 young kids. The apartment was very clean and up to a high standard. Staff was very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend this apartment for big family. We had a very pleasant stay in Republic Hotel. Fantastic stay in this hotel, stayed at the top floor radium apartment it was enormous, so well equipped , fridge , dishwasher, washing machine.etc... breakfast, friendly staff would highly recommend and would stay here again, my second trip to Prague, i will definerly stay again in 1 republic. it's a brand new hotel, and has all the facilities of a decent 5 star. we booked quad bed room, and got one bed room plus one huge living room with two sofa bed. Excellent breakfast, for whole family. Area was OK also, twenty minutes walk from the station. overall very good experience. Large size of the room,we had a suite,desk staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Location was good and within walking distance to most tourist areas. Plenty of restaurants close by, main station only a 5 minute taxi ride away. A very good budget friendly hotel. Everything is perfect. We went by car. I saw such a parking for the first time: you will place a car on the special platform and it will go somewhere automatically. The rooms are luxury, everything is clean and nice. Breakfast was tasty. There is also a room for children. Everything is excellent. Staffs helped me to book a bus for Chesky and call to Bus station instead of me. We thought it was really good value.Nothing negative to say. For a group of 4, one restroom - though large - could be a bit of a squeeze. The door-stopper (not really required, but) is easy to stumble upon. nothing really all was good!. Nothing. Our continental adaptors didn't work but we could borrow phone chargers at reception. However we had to do without the hair straighteners!!. The street where hotel is located is a little beat hidden and hard to find but if you look around more careful or ask the taxi driver it will be ok. Nothing. the tap water is very clorinated, but that is not really the hotel's fault. nothing. Tiny room, nowhere to relax other than on the bed. No hotel bar/restaurant, unpleasant staff. N/A. No parking for motorbikes ,but that did get me some parking in another hotel just up the street,so not to bad. The street is a bit dodgy, especially the lower end towards the main square. But that wasn't the hotel's fault, and it's manageable. A short flight of stair at entrance, difficult when carrying luggages. -. Television only had BBC World News and Bloomberg in English. One or two more English channels that were not new/business related would have been good. Weak wifi at some parts of the hotel, not 4* Luxury. Nothing. the beds. It would be good to have some food available in the evening at least during the winter months.. Room was not very large. no view, small televeision.
