  A 5 star service for a very good price hotel. A little difficult to find by taxi but once there well worth it. Located 5 minute walk to nearest metro stop which is on the circle/loop line of the city. Every place of interest in the city is within easy reach from this hotel. Could not fault the servise one bit.   We arrived in Beijing at 1am in the morning but due to difficulties with the taxi driver finding the street this hotel was on we didn't actually check in until 2.30am. The neon/lighted sign outside the hotel does not read "Beijing Jinxiu Courtyard Hotel" in the english written section however the chinese section does have that name so there was a ... what people say » bit of confusion as to whether we were at the right place but luckily some locals helped us out. The staff don't speak a great deal of english though - the station is very near to railway station. it's convinent. beautiful yard. special building style. classical.

  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard. The rooms were bright and the use of glass made the hotel seem very open and friendly.

Visiting on foot is easy, taxis close to hand , atmospheric area .   The location was excellent. In the middle of the Hutong. We stayed in a traditional room which was very spacious. We also rented bicycles at the hotel, which made it very easy to visit the sights in Beijing. From the airport we took the AIrport Express to Sanyuanqiao and then took a bicycle taxi, because we had read on letsbookhotel.com that car... what people say » s could not enter the street of the hotel. The bicycle was a good idea. We were dropped almost in the hall of the hotel. Also we booked a Great Wall - Very nice hotel with traditional Chinese decor! The best place and part of the city to stay to get a feeling of Chinese culture. Everyone speaks English (thank god)! In a very nice touristy area in the oldest hutong of beijing "Ju er" (next to the busiest and must see Hutong Nanluoguxiang) need to take bus to nearest metro station. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.
