Very comfortable and clean, traditional chinese gardens and furnishings. Perfectly situated in the hutongs ( what a welcome difference to the bland upmarket chain hotels in the centre) . Visiting on foot is easy, taxis close to hand , atmospheric area . Good value varied breakfast both chinese and continental which sets you up for the whole day, and the restaurant a la carte dishes in the evening are delicious. ( A special mention for the lovely restaurant staff ). A great choice for seeing .
