  Extremely friendly and helpful staff, having a 24h reception is very convenient for late check-ins and early check-outs. By the way, the hostel serves a good cup of Mocha! Overall, Happy Dragon Hostel is value for money for budg - Excellent customer service. Reception and bar staff speak excellent English and go out of their way to help you. Trip to Mutianyu was excellent value for money and despite being stuck in a traffic jam was a fantastic day out. The hostel is an easy 5 min walk from the Dongsi metro station. Very easy to find. Don't be put off by comments which say it's hard to find.

  The staff were incredible, they were great fun and really made us feel at home. The manager was very helpful and made it easy for us to plan our trips and get around with all of his advice. The great wall tour that they provided was excellent away from the touristy locations it was a great experience. The location was good just a 10minute walk from tian'anmen squa - The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there. The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends. Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus! The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area. 4 Stars Recommend

The taxi we took from the airport (170rmb which was scam) can not find the place he had to call the hotel and drop us at one of the entrance. There are two entrances.
