Staff at this accommodation is so helpful and kind. It is hard to find at first. The taxi we took from the airport (170rmb which was scam) can not find the place he had to call the hotel and drop us at one of the entrance. There are two entrances. There is no reception area for you to go to. We couldn't find it. I grab one of the westerner who live in that complex and she helped me call the hotel. The hotel staff came down and get us and bring us the office which is on the fifth floor of one of.
all reviews » Great location. The studio apartment is in a new building, and the building is a part of a closed structure of approx. 10 buildings such as this one. It is surrounded by a fence and there is a guard at the entrance (nice) (It's not like it is unsafe neighborhood). Inside there is a tennis court, and plenty of grass. Although it is not located in the city center, it's 10 minutes walk from mtr station (dongimen), than it takes about 4 stops to the Tiananmen square. The apartment is clean and big,. Our flight to Beijing was canceled due to bad weather conditions and we were not able to fly until next day. When we called to New Oriental Suites to explain that we could not check in until the day after, it was no problem. They understood the situation and gave us the deduction of the first night stay. Warm welcome. Spacious studio apartment. Clean, quiet, modern interior design. Comfortable bed and shower. Sufficient closet space. Wifi available, but at times very slow. Location is very cen. David, Shelia, Tracy and the ayis went well above the call of duty in assisting us, especially after my husband lost his wallet in a taxi. Very practical to have transport cards we could borrow during our stay. Great neighbourhood, practical to get around, especially on public rental bicycle from Chunxiu Lu. The room was very comfortable in terms of size and the amenities ( washing machine, iron board, small kitchen etc) make it ideal for longer stays as well. It is a bit of a walk to subway but we glad we did choose this place. Had only one key (perhaps we could have gotten 2 if we'd asked) The toilet had some minor fixable issues. For two people, one chair was not enough. -No phone in room -Few (English/foreign-language) TV channels -Countertop in bathroom not same quality as the rest of the apartment -Low floor (booked special price room) -Atmosphere not as lively as in and cannot directly cut across south community of Seasons Park to get to Shizipo Lu -Not practical to enter Seasons Park and building without door key when checking in -A bit of a walk to the subway station, but ok -No proper dining table. The situation of the bathroom is quite poor as humidity has corroded part of the door and walls. The bathroom was actually the worst part of the room as it didn't feel clean although the rest if the room was just perfect. Some english channels on TV would help.They could provide some teabags and coffee sachets in the rooms, as everything else from washing machinnes to kitchen facikituies are provided ., None of them are dealbreakers , but would enhance the experience. Door locking system takes some getting use to, and sometimes went faulty, but when you got the hang of it, it was bearable. Very secure but I still prefer a key, or key card. Combined bathroom and toilet, floor gets wet. facilities are a bit old. Nothing. The bed was a bit hard, however from talking to friends this seems to be a common theme. Bed was a little hard. The mattress on the bed was extremely hard. noisy a/c units. Lack of professionalism, basic facilites.
