  The great thing about the hotel is location. It's not a great hotel but for the price it's ok. It gets a lot of groups so be prepared for crowds. The did change the meats on the breakfast buffet everyday and it is enough to keep you going for the day.   Our stay was very pleasant. The guys in the office spoke English very well and were very helpful in giving us a map and helping us plan some of the sites close by. It was very conveniently located to the subway and a lot of fun shopping. It was within walking distance to lots of sites. My son that had been living there for 2 years as a missionary ... what people say » said it was a much nicer place than the apartments he had stayed in. We were very comfortable staying here and felt very safe. - Location was great and close to subway and buses. Able to walk to nearby sightseeing venues and Hop ON- Hop Off buses. Kitchen was fully supplied except for paper towels. We bought fruit from street vendors for breakfast and snacks--mangos were outstanding. Office manager Javier spoke excellent English and was helpful. Very reasonable.

One night, he spent almost an hour on the phone trying to arrange a vineyard tour for us on the next day. Before we left, he made a great effort to make sure that the taxi driver takes us to the airport safely and does not rip us off. Certainly a wonderful place to stay during your time in Santiago!
