  We spent 4 nights in the Nelligan and rate this amongst the best of our hotel experiences anywhere. Rooms were spacious and well furnished (exposed brickwork is very stylish). All of the staff we spoke to were extremely helpful and spoke both French and English fluently. It's well situated in Old Montreal (you'll need their valet parking which is... what people say » reasonably priced) and is right in the middle of some lovely galleries, shops and restaurants. Yes, you'll pay a bit more for this hotel but it's def - We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. We look forward to staying there again and again.

  This is a great place to stay. Well decorated, modern, very clean, friendly staff. The bathroom was almost as big as the room with separate rain shower and a cozy bathtub.   During a road trip from Toronto to Halifax, I chose this hotel based in reviews and wasn't disappointed. The newest part of the hotel is beautifully done. The rooms are equipped with wonderfully modern stylish decor. The bathroom sink and shower fixtures are gleaming and spa like. Towels are so soft and their choice of toiletries ... The iPod dock was great touch as were the lighting fixtur - The rooms were beautiful. We ordered room service for dinner and it was excellent!! .....and reasonably priced. We would not have chosen this hotel except that I found a great room rate on book.com and we loved our stay, even though it was only one night.
