I treated myself to a mini staycation to a spa treatment at the Sweetgrass Spa (just next to Ivy) and had a wonderful refreshing body treatment. Then checked in the Ivy for a comfy quiet stay. We loved the charming Victorian feel and the gorgeous Christmas decorations. The dining experience was delightful both for dinner and breakfast. Our room was beautiful and they even upgraded us because it was our anniversary celebration. The pool area was also beautifully decorated and the water temp was perfect. It was so nice to be right in the center of the lovely town as well and therefore we could walk to everything.

RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time

Although the room rate was no bargain, I thought it was good value. The suite was large and we got full use out of it. Everything about the room from the bed (very comfortable) to the bathroom (loved the glass shower) to the not-so-small kitchen (even had a dishwasher and a toaster) was top notch.
The staff was also very helpful when I cycled up to the front door on my dirty bicycle after riding in the rain. They took me to a hose in the garage where I could clean it.
