  Staybridge Suites thankfully had accomadation for us after Homewood Suites nearby had overbooked-so couldn't honour our reservation. Staybridge staff were friendly, helpful and we were even offered supper for free. Both food & well equipped accommodation were good. Good size rooms with good layout. It had a variety of food to choose from.

  Great decor, hotel staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Great hospitality. The breakfast was more than we expected. Meal was hot with lots of choices. We will definitely go back. - The staff were excellent to deal with. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast to start our day.

  We stayed there because we have a child with a food allergy and I needed to be able to prepare meals. I was very impressed with the items provided in the kitchen: plates, bowls, silverware, serving bowls with lids, minimal cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, skillet, sauce pan, bigger pan, dish cloth and towel. The staff was extreme - To be honest, we didn't check in until later in the evening, so we didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities. But the staff were super courteous and very accomidating. Our room was very comfortable. We were a family of three senior sisters and our very elderly dad (90 yrs). Dad was very impressed with the fact that he had his own bedroom and bath!! It really was lovely. Thank you so much.

  Very nice accomodations for the money. Small kitchenette was an added feature. Breakfast offered many choices, hot and cold.   I enjoyed every moment of my stay. The front desk staff were so polite and professional and helpful (Ex. Catherine) and all the others.   Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? The reception staff were excellent: getting me a coffee while I waited to check-in (the system was down) and then giving me 10% discount vouchers. Ditto for the room; no chipped - I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.

At letsbookhotel.com they had all the information so he was then able to find what letsbookhotel.com had me listed as. Very exce - I really enjoyed the king size bed. The room was quiet and clean. The best part about the hotel was the location. I came in to see the CG on the Hill and it was a pleasant walk to the hill.

  This is a gem of a hotel. My wife and I stumbled across it while on a day trip to Port Hope and Colbourne. Lovely, very nicely decorated and spacious rooms. Large clean and modern bathrooms. A wonderful patio overlooking the river for lunch and dinner and a super in-house Italian restaurant. Very nice pub in town called the Beamish.Highly recommended for a week-end get a way. - Very large room. High ceilings, 4 windows with street view and river view. Large bathroom, 2 desks, fireplace (gas), small fridge. Quiet. Port Hope is quaint and has a number of decent dining options and is pleasant to walk around and do a bit of shopping.
