  Great decor, hotel staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Great hospitality. The breakfast was more than we expected. Meal was hot with lots of choices. We will definitely go back. - The staff were excellent to deal with. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast to start our day.

  Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? The reception staff were excellent: getting me a coffee while I waited to check-in (the system was down) and then giving me 10% discount vouchers. The same ready and pleasant service ... what people say » was also in evidence in the Restaurant=a vast difference of attitude from what I experienced on my stay last November. Ditto for the room; no chipped - I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.

  Although I had a letsbookhotel.com reservation number the hotel did not have it upon check-in. Fortunately, there were plenty of rooms available and I was given a free upgrade. Even though the restaurant was empty my prime rib arrived cold. I sent it back to be heated up and it came back lukewarm and without the garlic mashed potatoes that went ba... what people say » ck for reheating also. I gave up at that point and took the prime rib home in a doggy bag (at $22) for my dog. I will stick to the bar food next time. - The staff where exception. We only stayed there because we were visiting Buffalo for the day with friends. Now we will return for another 2 days because we are visiting nol with family. It is cheaper & quieter in Fort Erie

  When my boyfriend and I arrived for check-in, we were greeted by a very nice man at the front desk who's name has escaped me, but I want to say it might have been Mark? Anyway, we told the man our names and that we booked with letsbookhotel.com. Unfortunately, letsbookhotel.com did not send the hotel confirmation of our booking. He fixed us up with a very nice room; not the suite we had originally booked since there were - -Staff was very nice. Especially Nick. He upgraded my room and gave me free breakfast tickets for not finding my reservation in the computer immediately. - Internet works perfect. - Room was very luxurious.

  Welcome haven after driving 400km through the ice storm Dec21. Certainly exceeded our expectations and having Moosehead on tap was a real bonus - overall it was good...if staying longer would of liked a pool but facility was clean and comfortable

  The beautiful countryside location was just outside Picton. The facility looks new and the room we had was very spacious. We were able to walk to the British style Pub and restaurant where the atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The service was excellent.
