  everything! The welcome was lovely, the owner was there and chatted for a while while we waited for the couple in front of us to check in. The room was lovely with a great view and the bed was super comfortable. The bathrobes were great and super soft! We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a delightful walk after dinner, had we known how love... what people say » ly it was we would have booked more time there. - Saw some reviews that weren't great, but we found everything to be wonderful. The restaurant has new chefs, and the food was terrific. It is a restful and quiet place at this time of the year - late November, and enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.

  The location was ideal to get away from the in-town crowds even while being close enough to make quick trips to the Inner Harbor area. The staff's reception was friendly and helpful and continued to be attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast was delicious and bountiful! The restored building and amenities helped give me an historical perspective... what people say » about Victoria. I would love to return! - Friendly, efficient staff in amazing Victorian house in lovely quiet area of Victoria with many "heritage" homes and good places to eat and visit all within walking distance. Good breakfasts. Comfy bed. Quirky electrics! Turned light on and the fridge came on too! Soaker hot tub with water jets.
