  We were disappointed the first night that a few things weren't working (24 hr hot tub, our tv, and our coffee maker) however once we expressed our dismay, the staff worked quickly to rectify it and in the end our opinion was changed and it turned out to be an amazing experience.   The room we had booked was a studio loft with a kitchen, the room they checked us into at the Lizard Creek Lodge was in building 2, and it had 2 bedrooms a full living room, and a full equipped kitchen. Oh, and a jacuzzi! I am not sure if this was because the hotel was busy, or it was a mistake, but we certainly were not disappointed. The bed in the main bedroom was very - letsbookhotel.com did not I got there and they did not have my reservation I had to wait well they called you. You had the reservation in your books that you did not forward it to them... That is a problem!!'

  We came in off season as to us it would be too busy in high season. We were upgraded to a lovely 2 bedroom suite which was perfect for the price!! I liked being able to walk everywhere as my husband needs a wheelchair for long walks. It is close to the border to slip over for a few hours. It was VERY quiet and peaceful which made it even more ... what people say » relaxing. It likely would not be in the summer months. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Close to golfing and wineries. - The view of the lake and the vineyards across the lake was fantastic. Loved the morning sun coming over the mountains. Having a full kitchen and two baths was a bonus. The bed was so comfortable. Having a dining room/bar was a nice feature. We came for the FOG and enjoyed our stay at the Resort very much. The lobby is fantastic as well. Super staff. Very relaxing. Loved the town.
