  When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. Very modern lobby, clean and large room, bed very comfortable. We could hear a bit the noise from the Laurier Boulevard but it will stop during the night.   The first thing that I noticed was that the staff was very friendly to everyone. The rooms seemed very clean. The verandas looking over to the pool was fantastic. The pool area was very enjoyable specially when the birds were singing. I also liked seeing a guard walking by at night. I really loved the stay and my friends and I talked about going b... what people say » ack. I also recommended to other people. - I highly recommend Ambassadeur Suites as a choice of stay. My daughter and I stayed over March Break and had a fantastic time. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and even went as far as to assist me when asking about another hotel guest whom I met (Manhattan Steve) who I never got to say good by to, would have been nice to stayed in touch with :( Fabulous Place !!   The staff members were fantastic. They attended to you whenever requested. The views in the rooms are excellent. The pool and workout room were incredible. It is a very trendy hotel and a great price. The room service was not expensive and was great. - The most beautiful and comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in.

  What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!! There were renovations going on ... what people say » whilst we stayed there and some scaffolding over our window (inevitable in an old building which must be maintained) but they kindly gave us a complie - sheets on comforter so I feel clean in room--this is critically important recycling in room warm pool friendly check-in competent concierge gorgeous facility warm pool!!!!   The location was excellent! It was near the highway and a very short drive from Old Quebec City and Montmerency Falls. The staff were extremely helpful and answered all my questions with ease. They provided maps on how to get somewhere and then back to the hotel. That does not happen very often.   The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful to us regarding the city bus route to take into the city. The bus took 25 minutes and ran so frequently that there was never a long wait. The staff graciously spoke English with us, since our French is minimal. Underground parking was free and secure ( if a tight squeeze for ... what people say » a minivan!). The little café next door had a good selection of breakfast or lunch items we could eat there or take with us. - The rooms had balconies which I love...being a bit claustrophobic, I don't like places where you can't even open a window, so a balcony was a treat...just sit out, enjoy a glass of wine and take in some fresh air and whatever view you have.   The Chateau Laurier is a lovely clean hotel and very close to the Old City. The room was nice and roomy and the staff were excellent, polite and helpful. This hotel would be perfect for those traveling with children. We had a great stay!
