  Unique boutique style hotel with suburb classical french cuisine. Early 1900's building with original decor and lots of character. The pride of ownership is evident as the uniquely furnished suites are clean and very comfortable. I had always thought of duck à l'orange as a tired cliché of the 1960s, so it was a surprise to find out how delightful... what people say » Connie's version of this old dish actually is. Very welcoming atmosphere. If you are looking for something unique and away from the mainstream hotel - Very cozy two bedroom unit. Very close to our daughter who lives in the Highlands. Much more personal than a Hotel that may have a pool or other ameneties that we would not have used. Great for taking in a hockey game then for a couple of hours at the nearby Casino. (December) It would be an even better location in the summer to take advantage of the rivervalley then shop on Whyte avenue.
