Unique boutique style hotel with suburb classical french cuisine. Early 1900's building with original decor and lots of character. The pride of ownership is evident as the uniquely furnished suites are clean and very comfortable. I had always thought of duck à l'orange as a tired cliché of the 1960s, so it was a surprise to find out how delightful Connie's version of this old dish actually is. Very welcoming atmosphere. Very cozy two bedroom unit. Very close to our daughter who lives in the Highlands. Much more personal than a Hotel that may have a pool or other ameneties that we would not have used. Great for taking in a hockey game then for a couple of hours at the nearby Casino. (December)
It would be an even better location in the summer to take advantage of the rivervalley then shop on Whyte avenue.
I loved everything about it. The character of the building is so amazing. The food was absolutly magnificent. The most amazing B&B I have ever been to and I plan to stay there now every year on my annivesary.
The rooms were so quaint...love the atmosphere...will definetly be staying again and again...great location and accomadated all my needs....it was just like being at home! Absolutly great!.
The staff were so accommodating and kind! The suite was beautiful and the food was excellent! I cannot recommend La Boheme enough!.

Finding parking was an issue but after checking in I was informed about the lot across the street and all was good.
Nothing!.
A little out of the way.
- light switch in hallway (room 1) didn't work
- no bar of soap, kleenex or shampoo in bathroom
- no electrical outlet in bathroom
- no decaffinated coffee
- no hair dryer.
